My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite some musty and cigarette smells, were clean and comfortable, with a fantastic mini kitchenette that saves money on dining out. However, there was a lingering gas fume scent in one of the rooms. The service had its highs with courteous staff but also lows with some seeming more interested in their phones; housekeeping and tour assistance were prompt. The location was a highlight, easily accessible to the beach and local attractions, quiet for a good night's sleep, and right in the heart of South Beach's entertainment district. On the downside, the dining area was cramped and noisy due to construction, although the experience was slightly better than in other places in the same price range.
